It is our aim that all pupils will leave Oxford Gardens able to write clearly, accurately and coherently, with the ability to adapt their language and style to a range of contexts, purposes and audiences.  High quality texts, linked to our IPC topics, form the basis of each unit of work.  These core texts are chosen to challenge, enthuse and engage children.  Grammar, punctuation and other specific language elements are taught explicitly within Writing lessons and are also linked to the text, in order to ensure relevance.
